The only brain — and I use that word generously — in which that makes sense is Greene’s, but that won’t stop her from doubling and even tripling down on the inane rhetoric.

As Florida braces for the second of two destructive hurricanes to hit the state, Governor Ron DeSantis is shockingly acting like an adult for once. Even as Donald Trump — who has historically pulled nothing but starry-eyed support from the Florida Governor — was blasting President Biden’s response to the devastation, DeSantis himself stood up to defend the White House response. He praised Biden for delivering everything Florida has required so far, and even gave Vice President Kamala Harris credit for reaching out. What a world!

It’s not uncommon for kids to emulate their parents, but when one’s parent is a slimy, insurrection-stoking, fair election denying, felonious liar, things take a turn. This kid could be getting the keys to the kingdom in just a few years, and that should scare us all.
